The Art fund is one of the best charities in the country. Its main aim is to raise money for acquisitions for museums and galleries. Over the last century it has saved many masterpieces, that are the staple of British society. In the next decade i hope it continues to grow and do increased work to save such works of art.
The Art fund is currently helping the tate buy the Rubens sketch, one doubts if there will be any success in its purchase. One of the problems of lack of publicity and attention is that it is not a sexy piece of work, but a dour and dull piece.
But lets hope it will eventually be save for the nation.
